Not sure how to begin? Here's a no-BS survival guide from someone who started with zero SLG experience — and made it through.

1. Choose a New Server (Not an Old One)

  • Never start on an old server unless you're a heavy spender.

  • New servers give you room to grow and catch up.

  • Look for a "blessed" server — peaceful, active, and full of light spenders.

2. Join a Top Alliance (with Spenders)

  • Don't just join the #1 ranked alliance — join one with at least 1–2 solid spenders.

  • Spenders activate alliance gifts, host monster rallies, and help you grow faster.

  • Observe alliances before joining — activity > rank.

3. If You End Up in a Bad Server…

  • If the server is full of war and whales — start fresh in a new one.

  • 5 months of peace is better than constant bullying.

  • Don’t be afraid to restart — many veterans have done it.

4. Playstyle Tips for F2P / Light Spenders

  • Keep expectations clear: This is not a sprint.

  • Claim daily rewards and participate in all events, even if you don’t rank.

  • Use your main account + a farm account for long-term growth.

  • Gather speedups — you’ll need over 500+ days’ worth for serious events.

5. The Ultimate Goal (for Now)

  • Your first checkpoint: City Hall 26 + Tier 9 Troops

  • Your next goal: City Hall 30 + Tier 10 Troops

  • Stay in a strong alliance. Even if you're weak, be social, be helpful, stay active.

6. About King of Lords (Power Event)

  • Best rewards = King of Lords event. But only participate when you're ready.

  • You’ll need:

    • 100+ days construction speedup

    • 100+ days universal speedup

    • 200+ days training speedup

  • Don’t waste them on small events — save and strike once.
